Cauliflower Curry Rice 

A simple and satisfying side dish.

  • 2 cups/500g Cauliflower rice
  • 1/2 1 small tomato
  • 1 spring onion
  • 1 tsp mustard
  • 1 tsp cumin
  • 1 tsp turmeric
  • 1 tsp chilli
  • 1 tsp salt
  • 1 tsp pepper
  • 1 tbsp butter or ghee

Disability/ Safety Notes:

  • This recipe requires open flame, hot liquids and sharp objects.
  • Some grocery stores sell pre-prepared frozen cauliflower rice, this can save you time and energy, plus you can store it for longer.


  1. Prepare cauliflower rice in food processor.
  2. Melt butter or ghee in saucepan on medium heat.
  3. Add all the ingredients to pan, feel free to use greater or lesser quantities of the ingredients as is desired.
  4. Cook for roughly ten minutes or until it appears done.
  5. Ready to serve immediately, goes well with curry beef mince and naan bread.
